STYLE : Thrash Metal

Kreator is a German thrash metal band; influenced by Slayer, Metallica, Mercyful Fate and Bathory. Their style of music is similar to their compatriots Destruction and Sodom. "Hordes Of Chaos" is the twelfth studio album. It has been described as their most organic album to date due to the fact that, barring vocals, guitar solos and some melodies, the album was recorded in a live setting on analog tape recorder with very few overdubs.

Destruction is a German thrash metal, considered one of the "three kings" of the Teutonic thrash metal scene; the others being Kreator and Sodom. "D.E.V.O.L.U.T.I.O.N." is their tenth studio album. The album features three guitarists as guest appearances — Gary Holt of Exodus and Jeff Waters of Annihilator, both playing solos in the song "Urge (The Greed of Gain)", in addition of Vinnie Moore from UFO.

All the first letters of each track spell out the word "Devolution."
